Sex therapy is a specialised form of talk therapy that supports individuals and couples to explore, understand, and improve their sexual wellbeing.
It provides a safe, respectful, and confidential space to talk about concerns such as intimacy, desire, arousal, orgasm, sexual pain, identity, communication, relationships, and pleasure.
Sessions are entirely conversation-based there is no physical or “hands-on” component. The focus is on education, self-awareness, emotional support, and practical strategies to help you feel more confident, connected, and at ease in yourself and your relationships.

Sex therapy is for anyone who wants support with their sexual or relational wellbeing , you don’t need to be in crisis or have a specific “problem.”
I work with individuals and couples of all genders, sexualities, bodies, and relationship styles. Whether you’re single, partnered, sexually active, or not currently having sex, you’re welcome here.
Sex therapy isn’t only about partnered sex. Many sessions focus on things outside the bedroom, such as beliefs, body image, identity, communication, boundaries, or your overall relationship with sexuality.

Initial sessions
We begin by exploring what’s brought you in, clarifying your goals, and getting a sense of your history and current wellbeing. This may include gentle questions or evidence-based questionnaires to help guide treatment.
You’re always in control, you only share what feels comfortable.
Ongoing sessions
These sessions focus on building insight, skills, and practical strategies, while tracking progress toward your goals.
My approach is trauma-informed, sex-positive, and holistic, drawing from evidence-based therapies such as ACT, somatic approaches, solution-focused, and emotion-focused therapy.

Yes. What you share in sessions is confidential.
Your privacy is treated with the utmost care. The only exceptions are rare legal situations where I’m required to share information to keep you or someone else safe (for example, risk of serious harm or concerns about an adult or child’s safety).
We’ll go through confidentiality and its limits clearly in your first session. You can also refer to our consent, privacy and confidentiality policies.

You don’t need a referral to book an appointment.
At this time, rebates are not available. A 20% deposit is required at time of booking with the remaining payment processed 24 after appointment completion.
My current fees are offered at a slightly reduced rate while I establish my practice as a newly practising sex therapist. Any future fee changes will always be communicated in advance.

Before we meet together as a couple, each partner must attends their own individual “initial” appointment. These one-on-one sessions provide space to share your perspective privately, discuss personal history, and talk through any sensitive concerns.
This process helps ensure that joint sessions feel safe, appropriate, and supportive for everyone involved. It also allows me to better understand your relationship dynamics, goals, and whether couples work is the right fit at this time.
Once individual sessions are complete, we move into joint sessions where we focus on improving communication, deepening understanding, working through challenges, and building practical skills to strengthen your relationship.
Occasionally, additional individual sessions may be recommended alongside couples work for extra support.
